Great article. I agree, and businesses need to be thinking about how their IT infrastructure can influence the way they do businesses in today’s digital economy. Leveraging the cloud and accessing vital business apps and platforms is the key to leaving competition behind.

Isn't it true that this model is applicable on top of any scalable IaaS provider, rather than specifically on AWS alone? Just wonder if there are any vendor specific elements in it.
Martin Y. VP Sales & Business Development
I agree with the statement of intent "...The IT operating model refers to the combination of added-value people, processes, organizational configurations, governance mechanisms and work flows your IT department will leverage to use, run, and maintain your organization's cloud services."
Ramesh R. VP Sales & Business Development
Excellent insight! Of course when applying a new delivery model in a deterministic environment such as the OT and linking it to IT Enterprise requires executive leadership and vision . That in of itself requires real practitioners that understand the process of transformation and provide guidance as part of a "community of practice"so that a system of systems bubbles up in the collaborative process through agile development where change is often and good while teaching people what they need to learn applying a continuous innovation business model in harmony with the cloud .

Thank you Phillipe..... a very insightful and real perspective on on the difference between what an IT strategy consultant offers and understands versus the consulting shops!
Barbara M. Senior Strategy Consutlant
How refreshing to see someone call the pig a pig;) Marketing always puts these grand words into the IT lexicon, but no one every really dares to ask what it really means and how to measure the supposed value (another grossly overused term). I look forward to reading your book.
